Making an offer & Exchange of contracts

Once you've found an appropriate property, we will put your offer forward to the seller, both verbally and in writing. Any suggestion is questioned to a contract being signed. There are no legal obligations on either side until the contract has been signed. You and the seller sign the contract. The deposit (which is usually 10% of the purchase price) is telegraphically moved or paid by the buyer's solicitor in the form of a banker's draft. The completion date is set.

Viewings

Viewings can be conducted by appointment between 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 4pm on Saturdays. Appointments can be booked 9am - 6pm, 7 days a week.

Completion

This is generally set a few days to a few weeks after the exchange of contracts, depending on each groups' personal requirements. Residual monies (usually 90%) are now transferred from your solicitor to the seller's solicitor's account.

You will then be the legal owner of your new home!
